Live Activities start automatically when you begin tracking. If they don't appear:
Go to iOS Settings → Poreia
Make sure Live Activities is enabled
Also check Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Allow Access When Locked → Live Activities
Unit Display
Distance is shown in your selected unit system:
Metric : meters or kilometers
Imperial : feet or miles
Nautical : nautical miles
Change this in Settings → Display → Unit System .
Automatic Refresh
Live Activities update:
When new GPS points are recorded

Every 5 seconds when stationary (to keep elapsed time current)
8-Hour Limit
iOS automatically ends Live Activities after 8 hours. Poreia detects this and restarts the activity automatically, so you won't lose tracking during long sessions.
