You've started tracking but the point count stays at 0 or increases very slowly.
Solutions
Check location permission: Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Poreia. Make sure it's set to "While Using" or "Always".
Check GPS signal: The accuracy indicator on the main screen shows current GPS quality. Indoors or in urban canyons, GPS may be poor.
Check accuracy filter: If set too strict (e.g., 10m) in poor conditions, points will be filtered out. Try Settings → Poreia → Tracking → Accuracy Filter → 50m or Off.
Tracking Stops in Background
Symptoms
Tracking works while the app is open, but stops when you switch apps or lock your screen.
Solutions
Grant "Always" permission: Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Poreia → Always.
Check for Low Power Mode: In Low Power Mode, background updates are reduced to ~100m intervals. Your track will still record, but with fewer points.
Points Seem Sparse
Symptoms
The track has fewer points than expected, with gaps between them.
Solutions
Check Low Power Mode: When enabled, GPS updates drop to ~100m intervals. Turn off Low Power Mode for detailed tracking.
Check Travel Speed setting: Settings → Poreia → Tracking → Travel Speed. "High" mode records less frequently. Try "Auto" or "Low" for walking.
Check Accuracy Filter: A strict filter (10m, 25m) discards points with poor GPS. Try 50m or Off.
Live Activities Not Appearing
Symptoms
You start tracking but don't see the Live Activity on Lock Screen or Dynamic Island.
